The aim was to transfer methods, support political integration process, build networking, encourage young entrepreneurs, and increase scientific analysis and number of reports in order to establish permanent partnerships between Turkey (Gaziantep) and EU countries in the field of sustainable energy.
ACTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
- Local institutions in Ankara were visited to obtain information about legal regulations and EU politics. A study visit to Hungary was organized to observe the best practices in renewable energy on site.
- Partnership building seminars to create synergy for renewable energy among CSOs, public institutions and universities were organized in Germany. In Turkey, a training course in renewable energy, entrepreneurship courses for young entrepreneurs, and a one-day conference about energy for TRC-1 Area including Gaziantep Adıyaman and Kilis provinces were organized.
- Wind Rose Festival was organized in Gaziantep with 500 participants.
