Dissemination of Organic Meat and Milk Production in Erzurum

OBJECTIVE
New approaches will be implemented for the system of putting earring on organic cattle and sheep, and the marketing standards and methods in Erzurum. It is aimed to improve capacity of organic milk and meat producers and also to raise awareness on the importance of organic farming.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • The training programmes and materials are prepared and training of trainers is conducted.
  • The control and certification institutions are identified.
  • The pilot production organizations are established.
  • Organic livestock training and workshops are conducted.
  • The pilot production organizations are inspected by the certification institutions.
  • The ORGANIKVET database is established.
  • A study visit to Germany is held.
