Consumer Empowerment

OBJECTIVE
The project aimed to strengthen the institutional capacity of the actors having an important role in consumer protection and inform consumers about their rights.

ACTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

  • A study visit to Germany was organized to exchange knowledge and best practices.
  • Training programmes on consumer law and financial services were prepared.
  • Within the framework of the training programme, 2 trainings in Istanbul and one training in Izmir were held.
  • A consumer fair were organized in İstanbul to increase awareness and information of consumers.
