OBJECTIVE
The population and habitats of Egyptian Vultures and Eastern Imperial Eagles are protected and awareness is raised through best practices.

ACTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

  • A scientific workshop and a training were held in İzmir with 14 participants to get prepared for the project site visit.
  • A 20-day site visit to Nevşehir Göreme was organized to examine the Egyptian Vultures.
  • A 18-day site visit to Bolu, Eskişehir, Kırklareli, Edirne, İstanbul and Tekirdağ was organized to examine the Eastern Imperial Eagles.
  • A report about the site visits for Egyptian Vultures and Eastern Imperial Eagles was prepared and a mapping study was made.
  • Visibility materials like brochures and posters were prepared for awareness raising.
  • Relevant people and institutions were visited for awareness raising and lobbying, and information was shared through the dogadernegi.org website and Doğa derneği social media accounts.
  • Project closing activity was organized in Bulgaria.
